Gingerbread!!!!!

Oh...due to such a coincidence, we met gingerbread!!!!

WC, Carolyn and I were walking at Sunway Pyramid looking for USB fan at LG2. Out of the blue, we saw one orange mascot, sitting on a bean bag. After such shocking view, we approached the orange mascot and we keep on laughing there, saying 'It's the gingerbread!!! It's the Gingerbread!!! and it's lying on a bean bag!!!' LOLz...

So, we decided to take a short break, forgotten our purpose to look for the USB fan and took some picture with the Gingerbread.

Ginger bread lying on a bean bag!!! ^_^

Gingerbread ready for KungFu fighting...

Once WC reached the Gingerbread, it collapsed...lolz

See the happy Gingerbread.... XD

Gingerbread...gingerbread....

GINGERBREAD!!!!!

At last, we found the USB fan at Living cabin, and purchased it at the very last minute that they were closing their shop. Although it's kind of late, but at least we found what we wanted and thank God, Living Cabin having it at the price that we were hoping for. In fact, initially, it's only Carolyn whom wanted to purchase it, and after some time to look for it, both WC and I felt that we would like to get one for ourselves as well... XD

- Caribbean Cafe -

Still full until now.

That's what I can describe.

I had driven WC to find her friends, because her poor little Kelisa too small to accommodate 6 person including one little kid.

From Sunway to BK 6, and return to Bukit Jalil and to Kuchai Lama then, reached the Caribbean Cafe.

Well, it's not hard to find with all the helps of WC's friends whom stayed nearby.

Once reached, you'll see a large sign board ' Central Spa'...All I wanted to show here was the Caribbean Cafe signboard. (Ignore my poor photography skill)

Caribbean Cafe's slogan, I guess...Got to ask GY if it's true.

The menu's cover page...

Kam Heung's chicken chop with Rice

Cheesy egg Chicken Chop with mushroom sauce

"Sunrise"

Green Apple Lemonade

There are 3 more drinks that we had ordered, Apple and Orange, Grape Lemonade, and orange juice...but I forgotten to snap the picture...

Nam Yee fried Chicken

Crispy Yam Pear

WC and da gang... lolz

See the little kid, he's eying at the food...

A close up of the little kid's face....

The bill.......

Coincidently today is WC's friend (I can remember the name well, :p) birthday. So we were entitle to get 20% off from the total....

* To enable the birthday discount, the person have to present the Identification card or birth certificate or passport or any other documents that can prove your birth date is on the day you're having at Caribbean Cafe.

Well, overall, WC's friends and her drinks were too sour to drink. All except mine. I guess I am lucky enough to order a drink that's not too sour?!

However, GY got to take note already... hehehe...

The food, mushroom sauce given was too salty... the chicken chop deep fried with flour had already absorbed some salty, and the sauce need not to be so salty as it will cover the chicken's taste.

The Kam heung chicken chop is a new combination for me. Eating the sauce alone was overly salty. I tried to blend the sauce with white rice, to reduce the saltiness, yet I can't bear it. However, I had finished the food as well, because I don't want to waste food.

The Nam Yee fried chicken was good, if we're having beer...that will be a perfect combination.

The yam pear was great. The little kid likes it... lolz...

PTPTN

I received an email from PTPTN, with 2 pdf files attached.

The email was send to me regarding to the reduction of 3% interest to 1% interest rate from PTPTN.

The new offer letter was send via email regarding to any updates as well as the changes of the interest percentage.

When I browse the PTPTN website today, I saw that those whom had borrowed or received the offer from PTPTN from year 2002 and below can start to click update their "Ujrah".

Those whom had got their offer from PTPTN on year 2002 or before do click here to submit your IC number and email.

You will then receive a link in your email to validate the submitted email as well as to updat your profile, such as the current correspond address, the mobile phone number, parents ic number and etc. Once those informations had been updated, the PTPTN webmaster will send in another email, with all those changes made.

There will be a statement
"Permohonan anda telah diterima dan akan diproses. Keputusan permohonan akan dimaklumkan melalui emel. Terima Kasih."

The "keputusan" written is not a direct result of whether the application is successful or not. It meant that the application forms of new offer letter will be send through email to the applicants. The applicants shall fill in the attached form and in 2 copies. Each applicant will have their new generated offer letter code and as well as statements to sign.

The applicants are given 90 days to submit the signed new offer letter to PTPTN and it is not yet approved that the interest will automatically reduced from 3% to 1%. They will then send in approval letter either by email or send to correspondent address.

Extra points

I found it weird, when I checked my bonuslink points at the end of November; there's 3k points credited in.

I try to recall what had happened for the 3k points origins.....

However, I totally forgotten about it and ignore it until today...

When I log into the bonuslink account and try to trace the transaction history...

I found out that I am one of the Go Green Pot-A-Plant contest for October. Wow.... I didn't realise it....

I purposely print screen the winner list and...Ta-Da...>>>>>>>>

My name... in the list.... Hohohoho... XD

Penang Trip 2

I had forgotten to include the second session of the Penang Trip photos...

Cendol at Penang Road....

The taste still as superb as the one I tasted before about 8 years ago....

The Laksa sold nearby the cendol stall was just so-so...the impression not deep, and lack of laksa taste. Friends whom are Penangite told us to go for laksa at Kek Lok Si...but the place hygiene is out of control and might be kind of disgusting for first timer... I am not too sure... haven't got the chance to visit there.

Later at evening, (after we had trapped in the jam around Komtar for around 1 hour, moving only around 500m) we decided to deliver items to YQ's popo...near Perak Lane...

Soon after delivered the items, we played awhile with YQ's popo's doggies... and they are so obedience and adorable....

YQ brought us to a nearby hawker stall to have crab porridge....However, the boss informed us that crab had been sold out, only fish.... So, I ordered fish porridge.

The fish porridge served. It's more like cooked rice with a base of soup stirred with the rice and cooked fish meat.

There's a stall selling something called 'Peanut Soup'...and I would wondering how do this peanut soup looks like, and taste like... The peanut soup looks whitish and I thought it tasted like the canto version peanut soup...but it was totally different! The peanut soup sold at here was sweet, and the folks here usually take 'yau char kui' together with the soup. Tasted fine...even though I still prefer the canto version of peanut soup... :P

Wanted to got for a different and thought of to try out the Clinic Cafe at Sunway near Bukit Mertajam... Unfortunately, it's not our day... the clinic cafe wasn't open.

The lok-lok we had taken to share... the good thing regarding to this lok-lok was there are variety types of sauce to choose. Nice!

The lai chee kang that we ordered during eating at a hawker stall at Bukit Mertajam.

We head on to Indian style apom before we head back to YQ's home.

An indian uncle selling this apom. Tasted different with the apom that I usually eat. This had heavier santan (coconut milk) taste and thicker in the middle.

Digi Turbo 3G no connectivity at Bdr Sunway

Before I blog about the Penang Trip part 2, I would like to inform user of broadband whom wanted to know if Digi 3G turbo Broadband is good at Bdr Sunway area...I can definitely tell you 'NO'.

I had been experiencing dis-connectivity since yesterday when I am using the Digi 3G at Bdr Sunway. To my surprise, the dc constantly happened from yesterday morning until late night. Today, until this very moment, I had been keep on trying (I am using the university Wireless to type this blog!) and I decided to called DigiHelpline...

To my disappointment, the conversation went sour and nothing that Digi can help. Want to know what are their answer???

1. Digi 3G coverage area are limited. Your area is at the borderline of 3G and Edge, so you might experiencing unstable connectivity!!!
(Come on, if Edge is working, I should still able to browse internet with just a slower speed-some more even if we subscribe 3g, the highest speed available was 128kb/s which is actually Edge speed!!!)

2. You might exceed our quota, and we had to mentioned that once a customer exceed their quota, the connectivity will drop to Edge. Let me check for the quota....and...the quota stated here was satisfying. Maybe it's the system problem. Let me check...
(And of course I will know if my Digi 3g exceeding the quota or not, cause I login the OCS to check the account, you moron! And once they checked the system, the answer given was certain area Bdr Sunway might experience slow connectivity due to upgrading services....)

3. I asked and demand explanation on why the customer was not given any notice or warning regarding to the interruption of broadband services due to upgrading purpose... The answer given was- it was not a major interruption and some at the nearby area still enjoy the 3G connectivity and may I suggest you to switch your mobile option from WCDMA only to GSM???
(I was like...WHAT?! Why would digi need me to pay 3G bills if they can only supply GSM connectivity for me? If Digi cannot support such a large internet users traffic during peak hours and have to reduce until GSM connectivity, might as well they don't advertise that they have turbo 3G!!!!! I felt like being cheated totally by digi!!! )

4. Another excuse given was that Digi would not inform customer regarding to their service interruption until customer call in to inquire regarding to slow connectivity or no-connectivity. If it's MAJOR (such as whole Malaysia.... if it involve whole Malaysia; then I guess Digi gonna receive non-stop customer complain for not being able to keep up with the capacity but still wanting to earn from the people...) then only Digi will send out information regarding to the interruption. And they keep on repeating that today is public holiday, so the traffic was in peak hour and the connectivity was slow...BUT I told them...I had been experiencing this since yesterday..and yesterday WAS NOT a PUBLIC HOLIDAY!!!

5. After they had no other explanation that can be said to chill off customer, they just keeping mentioning that " we understand your situation, and any other thing Digi can help you?!"
(What the F***)...If Digi understand our situation, won't they readily inform customer ahead of the upgrading issue? Won't they bother to speed up their so-called Digi Turbo 3G? I am still having speed like 50 kb/s when I am paying a 3G speed bill.
Ok...asking me why I did not change service provider even Digi Sucks? Coz the residential area that I am staying do not have P1 wimax, UniFi, Celcom, Maxis, TmStreamyx... (coz it's a Digi Territory!!!)

Penang Trip 1

Woohoo...

At last, I can blog something positive, happy and energetic!

Last weekend was GREAT!

I enjoyed the hospitality given by Flag and Flag's family.

Hmm, Not to forget the "tak waras" (sot) girl T-Y to drive us to Penang Island and visited Butterfly farm.

After attended Vaanmathi's wedding ceremony on 24th Nov, I stayed at Flag's house until 29th Nov! Yeah, that's such a long holiday for me...I had not been able to rejuvenate myself through holiday since the madness arrived during May.

Loh Mihun Mee

According to the chinese translation to english, this drink called Iced Three Tasted drink which consists of Nescafe/Coffee, Milo, and Milked-tea.
Hokkien Mihun Mee aka Har Mee (Prawn noodles)

These foods were taken at Bukit Mertajam, (I forgotten to take down the shop name) somewhere near the BM's market.

Coming up next.... [Penang Island cendol, laksa, peanut soup and many more...]
